Bergamot Body Butter Ingredients:
Shea Butter: A deeply moisturizing butter made from the shea nut. It is high in vitamin A, an antioxidant which moisturizes and soothes skin as well as lessens the signs of aging, and vitamin E, an antioxidant which helps prevent wrinkles and signs of aging and protects skin against free radicals. It is ideal for treating dry, weathered or damaged skin and makes skin smooth and soft.
Olive Oil: An amazing skin moisturizer, olive oil has many skin benefiting properties. It is a nourishing, yet lightweight moisturizer that protects skin from chapping. It is rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K which are all beneficial to the skin. Vitamin E, an antioxidant, is especially helpful in protecting skin from free radicals which damage skin cells and cause inflammation and premature aging. It also has antibacterial properties which help heal skin. We have partnered with a local farm that imports their own olive oil from Italy to ensure that the olive oil is of the highest quality.
Jojoba Oil: A liquid plant wax that closely mirrors how our skin’s sebum performs. Jojoba is non-comedogenic, and softens and soothes dry skin. It is light and easily absorbed.
Coconut Oil: Helps reduce inflammation, moisturizes and protects skin. It is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and moisturizing. Coconut oil is composed primarily of nourishing fatty acids and is especially high in lauric acid. It also contains vitamin E and healthy fats, which help to make skin smooth.
Bergamot Essential Oil: Bergamot is a powerhouse for skin health. It balances skin tone, reduces the appearance of scars, contains powerful antioxidants to protect skin, is soothing and anti-inflammatory. The scent is sweet and spicy floral and is uplifting, refreshing and stimulating.
